DEX210 Kit spec advice
Hi Guys
After many many years away Ive decided to come back to it. Not many clubs near me but I fancy messing about again. The manufacturers have changed a lot in that time but after a lot of digging about I'm interested in the DEX210 due to its great spec and price at the moment. The RTR is a bargain but I really want to buy a kit. I know it doesn't make financial sense but the build is a lot of the fun for me. However, I'm way out of touch with regards to the kit. So really need advice on: Brushless motor and ESC Pinion Lipo & Charger Useage would be general around car parks, parks etc. No club use at the moment. I prefer stick transmitters so I assume any decent 2.4ghz kit would do? Or is there a particular good bit of kit or particular bargain? Sorry for all the questions guys. Its been too long In terms of experience back then I have around 10 or 15 kits from my first Stadium Blitzer through to my 91 Works Yokomo Dogfigher... yes its been that long Any advice appreciated guys. |

Well, ive ordered the DEX210 kit.
I got some 450cst Shock oil (hope this is ok) and took a total guess for the diff oil at 6000cst Also got two pinions, a 23t and a 25t but again it was a bit of a guess. Im heading dangerously into the unknown, but hey, what better way to learn |

with regard to 2.4ghz stick radios, most people at the clubs I go to use the Core RC Code or Etronix Pulse radio systems (same thing, different stickers!). These are pretty good at around £70. I've been using one for a couple of years without too many hiccups. Lots of settings, most of which you probably dont need unless you're racing but heh its fun playing around.
Otherwise you are looking at Ko Propo Esprit or Futaba systems which are 2/3x the price. |

Yeah, it was the kit and it arrived today. Really small box too
So I might have some oil I don't need then I'll make a start on the kit later this week; Only got the kit, servo, paint, oils, charger so far. |
