GT12 cheap electrics

When I tried GT12 many years ago I had a Supastox GT with a Core Pace combo setup. I can’t seem to find any of them anymore and all the 1s ESCs I can locate in the UK are crazy expensive compared to 2s version. Can anyone suggest a cheaper alternative for someone getting started?
