Do you have a ZX-R MKI front shock tower in amongst all your parts by any chance? Its the FRP one for a medium length front shock but it only has one hole for the shock rather than six like the MKII tower

the only shock towers i have are:

i was thinking or putting the la14 on the build instead of the silver alloy ones but still not decided, it would have been nice to stick the carbon ones on but they have too much wear for a shelfer, what you guys think, silver or black shock towers ??, also what do you think for the gear cover, clear or dark tinted ??

also i have added some more pictures, mainly close ups,

I'd go for the standard black alloy ones ron. Either that or pick up some new carbon fibre ones from Fibrelyte ;D

Hey ron, just realised you are running intermediate shocks with the ZX/Short shock mount. You won't get much travel like that, I reckon you should definitely get Fibrelyte to run you up a new CF front shock mount x

deffo right about not having much travel on the front,

I've put shorther shocks on with more travel for now, and the black towers nip, will get the carbon towers when the money comes along,

You also don't need those larger outer rod ends when using the ZX-R kingpins. Those larger rod ends are only needed when you use the hole on the C hub which is deep inside the wheel to locate the rod end

I had a bid placed on it but received an email from eBay saying my bid was retracted.
The seller pulled the auction early, I assume because someone made an offer for it for a direct sale
There was a few bits and pieces with it but I agree the condition was hard to see
You are getting a tub made either way aren't you, will there be any difference to your original design?

Yes but did want another. Im having exactly the same layout as the balance is spot on and is simple to drive all due to my hard work on getting that correct and was only 3mm off on my newer chassis designs. I will be adding the lipo tray holes and centre holes for the weight between the cells and may do another two holes specifically for my rear gearbox but wont stop anyone using an original gearbox.

Default TM-11 and LA-45 needed for Lazer Sport

Hi and sorry for stepping in the tub discussion.

I am about to built a Lazer Sport Runner (additional to the ZX-R) and am missing the following parts:
  • TM-11
  • LA-45
Does anybody of you have these parts? New or used does not matter.

I have more than enough parts to trade (new wishbones, new belts,...) or would of course also pay for the parts.

Thanks for your help and cheers

Ralf
