just checked it out...scared me there
crown wheel orientation swaped as i thought runs the car forwards and motor inertia is transmitted in board to help damp the effect also the transmission spins the opposite way helping to cancel that out. |

Hey Scott, my b max had stainless screws on it, I made up a kit from a bulk pack of metric screws from Rc Screwz, you get a big box of all sizes in M3 from 6-25mm so enough to do 2-3 cars I reckon
Or look on google at stagonset they do nice Ss screws and uk based |

Cheers Adam....4 evenings
side by side with my durango my new car is Cheaper (to me) slimmer easier to work on easier to obtain parts more durable better weight distribution fits all legal lipo saddles...then some more adjustable same geometry able lower polar inertia One donor (not kebab) easier radio fit more droop acheivable just seemed the right way to go its been in my mind for years it looks very simple but i have been waiting for the right kind of kit ( spec/price/potential) to come along ....you know me ads not wasting any space to the mm the bmax was the one, its a great car and i am very impressed with it even as a standard kit cheers |

No not yet i still have to make lots of bits
i am planning on a spring loaded tab that you pull and the motor/clutch hinge out for easy cell changing and some massively curved carbon reinforcing/topdecky type thing thats not near the top! to brace her up a bit shells only take an hour or so and you know me it will be proper snug cheers j woody |

This is what i thought you'd have in mind, a curved topdeck/brace would take it to another level, i may have a go at doing a b-max at some stage, but i'll probably do one to allow standard cell configuration, yours is crazy slim

£80 per mould is very cheap! if you went to a company like fibre-lyte, they'd be more than double that price + vat. hope your latest mould works out for you, i'm looking forward to seeing the finished conversion

Looking forward to seeing it
I did wonder on the earlier photos how you were going to brace the front and rear, i have always thought if you can do it is to have a high wall at the back and slots for the wishbones to hang out of, i.e. the tub wall carries on until the very back of the car, and simlar at the front. A bit like this http://www.fibre-lyte.co.uk/fl/cars/...r4tcsdtub.html Would be such a clean design
