Desperate for spares
Hi,
I am looking for any front and rear wishbones (V4 type) that people want to shift. No one (models shops) seem to have stock. Also, does ANYONE know of a source for hinge pins. I think its a huge con that Durango make you buy a pair of wishbones for like £11 just to get a hinge pin.... Someone must have either tried to get a local engineering shop or know of another car that uses that size. please give me a shout. The wishbones are really needed quickly!! Cheers Toby |

What's the diameter of the hinge pin? If I recall correctly, the V3 (and earlier) hinge pins (330039) are 2.5mm. They are slightly longer, but that's easily solved with a dremel or by simply using a grub screw in the bottom of those caster blocks
There are also other cars with 2.5mm hinge pins - I believe the Yokomo BMAX2 is one of them. It might be worth looking into other cars for a cheap(er) source of pins... |
