choices choices
sc s rule . good choice.
i am currently shopping for my second sct. its difficult. i have the hyper 10sc. its great. so tough its untrue looks great gos great very very simaler to the hong nor scrt10 which is amazing value both require setting up right though. and a bit of tweaking see rcshortcourse.com for all info and minor mods they really improve the trucks these big 4wd trucks need beefy systms . like hv pro ect or 1/8th gear and batteries to match also the new hpi mini trophy truck looks fantastic its top of my list at the min but am looking at hpi blitz as well (2wd) for variety stay away from losi strikes . not heard many good things aboutthem. but the wheels and tyres are ok i use em on hyper the associated truck seems to do well and has loads of bits an upgrades all the 2wd scs seem very competative and reliable but i like the 4wd a bit more driiiiiift and power whatever you get. tyres are expensive double what buggy tyres cost easybut they dont wear to badly happy trucking

Hi,i to am on the hunt after doing my first race with one,id never ran one before and it was a blasti did look at the mini trophy but am unsure what class they will let them run in,part of the fun is loads of trucks in the same heati was looking also at the SC10 FT,i run a durango and so to me ball diffs are a step back although the truck look ace,i think the best looking one is the BLITZ ESE but have been told the diff needs rebuilding after every race, and the AE is more a race car and the BLITZ is more a basher

I love my SC10 and would recommend one to anyone. After the weekends racing, I have rebuilt it to the stock Factory team spec. Hopefully it will handle even better.
Although I have succumbed to the 4wd side, and got a Hong Nor SCRT10 last night |

AE SC10 is a brill racer but it does have a weakness in the front wishbones.... but stick the RPM heavy duty parts in and it is well sorted.
...the Losi Strike might be cheap to start with but race it and you will go through diffs, drive shafts and turnbuckles like they are going out of fashion - I'm sure they're made of cheese. If you have run a B4 and/or T4 then a lot of parts are interchangeable with the SC10 as well. |

am i right in thinking the gear diff from the std SC10 will just slot inplace of the the ball diff in the FT

SC10 front wish bones can break if you hit stuff hard...So can other cars!!
Either an SC10 or a Blitz will see you right, it's a good idea to check what other guys at your local club are running before buying They will be able to help with setup tips and even spare's at times!
