Same as any other painted shell I dip all mine on the inside and the paints I use are for lexun shell (tamiya) poly

Do you mind me asking the technique for dipping on the inside a shell? As most the videos the film is shiny side down on the water? So does that effect the finish?
Thinking of doing a supastox shell just not to sure how it would work! |

Hi yes the technique I use for dipping on the inside is straight in then a full barrel roll as u push the shell through if that makes sense does take a lot of practice to get right doing I on the inside also as for the film just lay it on the water as normal people think you loose colour all rubish has as much colour as dipping on the outside if not better as the shine you get off the clear lexun on the outside is great

After seeing some of work being done on this thread i asked Ste if he could do a cat 2000 shell & undertray for me for this years revival meeting
I have to say his work is excellent & with a fast turnaround i'm happy to recommend Ste to anyone on here Thanks for a top job buddy two more shells going to be coming your way soon
