Default TLR22 spares package includes what?

Ok so I have my 22 and have a few small things but I am doing a race and just in general would like to know what you guys that have been running it have as spares, not like extra springs etc but parts that may need replacing.

I have run it locally on astro and it takes a beating and I haven't broken anything yet, just want to be prepared

I have front arms atm and extra screws oils and the bits from the kit anything else?

What have you broken needed to replace?

The only parts I have ever seen break are rear arms and the rear bulkhead from running too many shims/too short of a ballstud and it just tears the ballstud out, but its very much avoidable. I'd get rear arms and thats it. I personally have no spares as someone else will always have spares so I don't need to stock up

I've seen people break the weirdest things... I've broken the rear hubs, and the front shock tower, which then led to a broken top bulkhead. Buy Alu hubs and carbon shocktower, and you're safe. Also getting the alu linkmounts front and rear is a good idea.

there are a fair few running the 22 so I think Ill beable to find parts if needed, hopefully.

I was thinking about arms and towers, ball caps maybe a turnbucke or 2,
spacers (washers are real cheap at a local store)

I have seen hubs and bulkheads done because of those short ballstud

Does anyone keep extra bearings? how are the stock ones?

Personally the only thing i have done is pull ball studs out. Run it for 7 months and not broken a thing a very solid car!

I have a mate and he's broken have of everything it seems in the car, and I've not broken a thing. I guess it depends on how often and how heavily you crash.

At the races I only manages to break a front shock tower and front arm, not too bad considering my driving

Do people loctite the front wheel lug?

Of course!
Why wouldn't you loctite a metal-to-metal connection?

HOW TO BULLIT PROOF YOUR 22

I recomend if running on carpet (that can get fluffy stuff built up during the night) change the bearings for the blue seal set losi bearings dont have great seals and fluff will work its way in to them even if cleaned off after each heat ..

mod the rear bulk head by using a long ball stud so a nut can be put under the bulkhead ... never going to pull that sucker out lol..

carbon diff balls and trust balls a must

b4.1 diff nut and bolt to replace the cheesy one that comes as standard

once all these bits are done there is not alot more to go wrong apart from if you hit a solid object at high speed. or get it run over

things ive seen break or had break

front hinge pins and brace
wishbones and towers as standard on all cars lol
front bulkhead but only when running the accula carbon shock towers with no brace ??? silly
never seen a hub break but others have so add it to the list better safe than sorry ..
spur gear had a couple get chunked for one reason or anouther ..

shocks are solid but a spare set of shafts is normaly a good idea

apart from that your good to go ..
