Default Mardave V12, roller only, no body, wheels etc

Hi all,

I have a small Mardave collection, which have mainly evolved into either replicas of the scale cars I raced, or models of real stockies I was mechanic on.
I still require to build a Starlet Hot Rod replica, and a mk1 Escort Stock Rod replica.

SO, my thought was a bare V12 chassis would be perfect to get something like a Kamtec body or 2 for.
Kamtec also do Revolution replica wheels, so I'd be getting some of those to match it all up with what we ran back in the day.

Still with me??
ok, I need 2 chassis to put bodies on !
a V12 would be ideal, I guess MiniStock at a push would work, I mean it's not to run, display only.

Get in touch !
thanks

Stu

Stu - for the cost of Mardave V12 spares you're just as well off buying brand new from Kamtec, or someone like Arcade Models or Heath's Models in Essex. I mean a brand new chassis plate is like £3! If you're just looking for a shelf queen then you want nice and shiny anyway. I run the Revolution 4 spokes on my bangers and they look the tits!

cool, thanks for that.

I know my way around a Mardave ok, but I don't know exactly what I'd need parts wise to be able to build what I need.
I'd hate to miss something simple.

For a shelf queen you need everything less the radio plate, plus body posts. Give Keith at Kamtec a buzz - he'll supply what you need plus he can supply the wheels you need.

If you get stuck PM me and I'll help out exactly what you need.

Awesome, thank you.
It is a little harder to do from here in Canada, although I am coming over for a visit in May, so, I hope to have it all sorted by then.

PM me whatever info you think I need, and if possible a link to an online manual would be a huge help.
