What will be the best way to get to the track as I assume the A43 will be pretty busy with the event at Silverstone on?

If you get there early enough you should be fine, gates will be open from 7.

Tempted to do this, but I haven't done any of the others so I expect I'd have to do 4WD?

It's not dependent on how many you've done, as long as you've not counted points in any other region then you can do the 2wd regional

If you run in the 4wd/Open class, you should be able to run both 2wd and 4wd - thats my understanding and plan for Sunday!

That's fine then, you can run legitimately in the 2wd regional and count points

I assume control tyres are Schumacher mini spikes in the dry and ballistics in the wet - any compound?

No control tyres at regionals Mikey, you can run what you want, but the tyre to have is either Schumacher yellows (dry) or greens (wet). I've not tried the Fastrax tyre so I can't comment but I suppose if you are running at the 2 dayer then it wouldn't hurt to get your car set up running those if you can get some

They were ok in the damp when I tried them but I think that Schumacher greens were better overall. I'd bring both with you to try
