Reckon your misses is after your job Chris She's done okay with that hasn't she, sort of skate board esq.
Lovin the Luke Hobson one ! Simple, great colours, nice lines, all good Computers, ah, easy mate, if you can switch it on, do emails, and find ladies to look at you're half way there. You can get plenty of tuition from you tube, or digital tutors, Lynda.com, Gnomon workshop. Shout if you're stuck. |

Cheers Ian.. Luke's shells are all about being easy to see, by his own admission!
Naomi (better half) has a cracking viewpoint on stuff, she's really into her tattoo art, and hasn't seen a lot of RC stuff, which tend to get quite "samey"... the design on the Jeep is inspired by one of her dreses actually... i think it looks wicked! I'll get myself set up and give you a shout sir! wont have the plotter here for a couple of weeks at least though!

You don't need the cutter until you can use the program !
I'm sure Jon or one of the other guys on here can sort you stuff if you need cutting done. Getting to know the program, learning it and being able to trace your designs or customers logo's is what you need to do. Don't worry about filling shapes or clever shading yet, that will come with confidence as you use the program now but every base point starts with being able to create an outline for something, that's how the cutters work. Inkscape is free. Corel is widely used and okay, bit like inkscape. Illustrator is industry standard for design industry and the best out there, probably the one you're most likely to get training on too. The others have plenty of resources on line though. Give me a shout and I'll talk you through it, you need to be able to draw bezier curves with the pen tool, that's all you need for now. |

Had a friend contact me on a Friday, asking very nicely could he have a shell done for the next meeting on Sunday.... was glad i could get it turned around and got him sorted for race day i'm the first to say, it's not my finest hour... but from a bare shell to deleivery in a few hours, it's hard to knock

When I say old school I mean, when I used to race about 6-7 years ago that look was done alot and I loved it, Most memorable for me was the Jimming Maddison bodies with the fllame and stars, I even did a version for myself when I got back into rc last year. Great work and keep them coming, dont let your real job get in the way of your painting LOL |

Lol @ old skool.... Starting to show my age now, maybe?
Probably a result of taking a complete step back from RC for a number of years, not up with what's all the rage now! Glad you like 'em, Cheers for the comments UPD
