I know, there was recently also a dutty great Earthquake in those parts as well.

I'd like to visit the properly green areas of Japan at some point.

If the bullet train doesn't get you to the area, you might have to go by car, which can be expensive. Local public transport is really good in Japan. The bus and train ticketing systems are tailored to people who don't speak Japanese.

Elliott.

what you need is a total for everyone to aim at, i am thinking blue peter appeal type thing, and a date to target, i will of course donate cash and if you want some raffle prizes no problem.

I'd pay a quid jimmy!

Be warned (again) though.. japan is a very odd place for the unaccustomed Westerner - my brother is married to a japanese girl and when he goes out there with her he gets very weirded out by the place and he's very well travelled.

The food is stomach turning and very few people speak english. If you could go with a japanese speaker it would help a lot I think.

Not wishing to put you off, just letting you know my experiences mate

How about a sponsor me page on ebay?

I think a little meter on the page with targets would work well so that we can all see how much you need to go.

You need to speak to hpi or cml, someone like that to get some sponsorship.

Or a picture page!
get people to donate some money and then when they do they can send you a small picture of themselves that you would put on a particuler page, to show all the people that have sponsored you.
like a collage of photos of people pulling silly faces or summat.

good luck with it anyway jimbo.

Emily managed it for her trip so I'm sure you could work something out.

Have a few buddies that I know are going. Today with Gil Losi and he's planning on going. Also my friends Steven Hartson, Ronny Garner, and Ryan Cavalari. Other drivers as well Mark Pavidis, Billy Easton, Ryan Maifield and Masami. It's going to be a good World's this year.

Never heard of them

But they do need to get some better photos on their product page for sure - remind me a bit of the losi tyres they give away in all the kits.
