Default Serpent S500

RedRC.net have a CAD drawing of the new Serpent S500 on their site - the car should be shown later in the week at Nuremberg ToyFair in a pre-production state, but this is a first look at Serpents first 10th scale electric off roader.

From Redrc.net:
Serpent S500
The first product to be produced following the collaboration of Serpent and Durango designer Gerd Strenge. While keeping the spirit of the original project, the S500 is all new and has been designed from the ground up by our team of designers. The main features of the new car are its rear mounted batteries, central shaft drive, motor mounted front of center, ultra narrow chassis and easy access front and rear differentials. This car has already proven itself in its prototype phase, with the only 2 cars at last years World Championship in Japan making it into the main final.

Some oOple observations - There appear to be rubber 'boots' around the drive shafts exiting the out drives, could be a nice touch for long life of the components. The car appears to have XX4 style wheel mounting, and XX4 style front knuckles (much like many current 4WD buggies).
The ultra narrow chassis is an obvious one - but the shell appears to bulge out toward the front - possibly a nod toward the mass market, giving more room for electrics and standard size servos.
