Default Hi all

Just wanted to say hi to all the mardave racers
Coming from various rc scales, and still involved in and the stress of keeping up with the continuing upgrading ect just to be competitive lol

Only looked at mardaves a few months ago an thought i like the simplicity behind the scale and so far the cost and even after what 30 odd years still looks so much simple fun and the skill based on the driver and not the car with all the bling ( bin and done that enough times)
My son loves nothing more than bashing cars against other cars legally compared to other scales we also race and so did all my other members

We ended up buying loads of cheap mini stox upgraded them with v12 parts
To be able to use v12 wheels and foams ect basic simple cost effective parts
And now we have had to open up our first night running an oval circuit
We basically run our own rules but keeping everything mardave ect for what the class is brca brushed motors, v12 and stox parts, upto £30 speedo only nimhs only just to keep the mini stox revival but not the expense to go with it and also the fact of being able to get ministox parts anymore but thats what we chose to do and love every minute of it
We run offroad 1/10th 1/16 th buggys trucks ect aswell but we seem to have attracted more members due to mardaves and not the offroad
So hope mardaves continue and hope to chat with any of you guys and learn a few tips ect and hopefully some of our guys now are wanting to take part in nationals lol but not with the stox weve got
Any info or advice on what v12 chassis ect is popular to run in the nationals would be good hotrods ect?
Thanks chaps we are based in south wales if anyone nearby fancies showing us how to race the mardaves
