Smile can anyone help

Can anyone help me this friday I've just put my motor and speedo in my cat and need some wires soldering to the motor and the lrp has tamiya plugs and need to change em to be able to use lipos . As I,ve only ever used tamiya plugs so if anyone could help it would be a great help .

Yeah bring your stuff and we will get it sorted. I have a nice 85 watt iron that we can use to get the connectors fitted.

Maybe the soldering god will be making an appearance this week to

just a 85watt, i feel ashamed for using a whooper 240 watt 1 lol

you sure thats not just the voltage

mines a low 40 watt 240 volt type.. but does the job

I think you would need a welding mask for a 240 watt soldering iron...

I just want to see my car go haha I've spent to long looking at it and just want to race it its just goin to be slow compared to you guys its only got a 9.5 turn speedpassion motor in but I made sure its faster than my stepson he's got my old losi xxx4g with I 19 turn motor in bet he still beats me haha as long as I'm having fun I don't care if I'm last its been 16 years since I last raced .

9.5 isn't slow, particularly with the advanced timing turned up - some of the best drivers only use 8.5s

9.5 will be fine. the cats have a tendency to wheelie after jumps with powerful motors in so it should be nice and easy to drive.

So rob anything I need to get form the model shop ? Like connectors ? And which ones ?

Yeah and don't let Chris near your diffs....

I think mr ken is pretty good at soldering now due to all the practice he got when running brushed motors. Motor change every five minutes

Well i've only killed 2 diffs so far, im now quite good at re-building them

Mr Ken did get plenty of practice when I used to killed brushed motors, but is now out of practice since going brushless and not killing them.
