Default New Stuph Coming

Stand by for an announcement next week of a new line of X Factory products. Cool stuff for your X-Car and many of the new parts fit other cars too!

Shipping early in the week to distributors and dealers all over the world, then press release later next week. D.M.S. has ordered a ton, and you'll get the new parts most quickly from your local X Factory stockist.

One of the parts is already for sale, but it will get the new packaging because it fits right into the new line. First three new parts are in stock now, just waiting for the printer to finish the new header cards.

For now, don't ask me no questions, I'll tell you no lies.

A bit longer. There were some problems at the printer and the header cards won't be ready until Monday or Tuesday. The parts are in our warehouse.

The manager of the shop, with whom we usually do business, was on vacation, and their people did not fully understand just what we wanted. They did the right thing by E-mailing proofs back and forth and talking with us on the phone each time (3 iterations) until we got it just right. We're rolling now.

When you are printing 10,000 of something on heavy card stock you must get it perfect the first time.

Yeah, did you know that after opening a package with spares we actually throw the header card AND plastic bag away. Kinda shocking isn't it?

Would be a lot better for the environment without them.

hihi

Rofl, I actually work for a company that does test on biodegradability.
I'd be happy to do some tests. .

I do- I collect them

you will normally see me bring out my vast collection when we have dinner parties- every one is always interested in what a Yokomo yz10 super dog fighter washer is or a kopropo 713 choke lead-.

Last Christmas I had 650 header cards from a friend who could no longer keep his collection as his wife said it was taking to much of his time, I couldn’t believe my luck when the rare misprinted batch of "Trinity monster stock" from 1992 where in there, who would have thought no one noticed the miss print on the word stock

Now gentlemen, let's think this through. We promise you and our dealers that you can get all our new products more quickly from them than from our web site. Therefore, we've got to ship to D.M.S. first. A few days after that we ship to dealers in other countries. That way the fine U.K. model shops who purchase from D.M.S. have our new parts at the same time as dealers in other countries.

Then we announce the products and put them on our web site.

Now let's look at what happens if we tell you what's coming before D.M.S. has been shipped. You start calling your local model shop wanting the new parts. They call Darren. All day long they call Darren. Hundreds of calls each day.

Soon Darren is mad at me because there are so many calls he can't get any work done, he's losing his hearing from the loud phone calls, and now he must work after hours to catch up. He can't help his wife with their little son at bedtime because he's still slaving away in the shop with only one tiny low-wattage light on in the back so those showing up after hours demanding the new X Factory parts don't know he's there.

Next thing you know it's midnight and there's a mob of screaming deprived X Factory Family outside and Darren can't get out. Police are called. His wife, very angry, goes to bed without him, and they get a divorce. Darren stops eating his wife's great cooking and loses weight and has to re-design the D.M.S. logo, which costs so much money that between logo expense and the divorce settlement he goes broke and closes the shop.

Now is that what you want???

Chazz, that is one of the wackiest stories I have read in a LONG time, some parts sounded quite good though, could do with losing a few pounds for sure and have you ever tasted Micheles cooking or heard her snoring??? LOL

Not sure that the "going bust" bit is appropriate this week though with what has happened elsewhere in the last few days

They are at the ROAR nationals at the moment mate, so nothing will be released for the rest of this week now......

There is a new neat range of accessories on the way, nothing will be superseded by any of them and nothing will be a "must have" item but none the less a very neat range of items is on the way, please be patient (we all know what manufacturuers are like at teasing and then not telling us promptly enough and sadly I am sworn to secrecy until they are announced too)

Let Darren hire his own flunkies. Our flunkies don't do well in U.K. unless properly pickled. Pickling is easy, it's the "properly" part that's hard. Expensive too.

We intended to do the photography while in Joliet but it just didn't happen.

That's what it's down to -- the photography and writing the copy.
