Yep,

They are a good investment.
(But I do sell them!)

The alu steering rack (Link: http://p-dubracing.co.uk/index.php?m...roducts_id=167)

They will remove the flex, that is there with the plastics kit belcrank set-up.
This should give a little more steering, but will also remove some vagueness in the steering.

The down side is that is now a solid unit (no flex) with no servo saver element.
You really need to be running these with a good metal gear servo.

As the Savox 1258 is a metal gear servo, you should be ok with the aluminium bell cranks

I'm not a servo expert, so I can't say about any particular servo. And we don't sell or recommend them, so no axe to grind here.

Using the aluminum bellcranks puts all the stress into the servo, which makes the metal gear servo important. However, to protect things most metal gear servos have one plastic gear in them. The plastic gear breaks before you wreck everything else. Suggest you pick up a pack of plastic gears specific for your servo and keep them in your box. It's not like you'll use one every weekend -- heck, you may never need one -- but when you do strip one you're toast without a spare and the pack should be fairly cheap.

Wise words.

I have seen someone rotate a damaged cog in a servo as it only moved through about half it's circumference so he rotated the damaged section 180 degrees.

I have alloy bell cranks or glued servo savers on my SC10 and both my X6 cars.
Never damaged a servo and the SC10 is only used for bashing.
I use savox on the X6 and Ko popro servos on the SC10.
