The plug type is standard across all speedos and motors so you can use any.

We have the Tekin ones in stock in both 100mm and 200mm length

Whats up with this!!!

This happens after a few runs around our small track
Not the original cap.
Motor and esc is mildly warm but the cap is pretty damn hot

Cap problem? Sensor cable? Esc? Can I reset the esc?

Not that clear sorry and sounds not the best but hopefully you get the idea

Looks like the kinda thing that happens when the cap is faulty, just desolder it and try.

Hi Randy,
I'm returning to the UK from the USA next week and want to run 13.5 open/mod.
What settings would you advise for 12th with RS Pro.
Thanks

That a good idea to run without the cap.

I did a bit of reading and saw a few threads about maybe the servo which I have at the max EPAs (going to swap it out today and test) that it could be drawing more power than necessary as Im maxing out the servo points

No caps in the post today either!!

HI GUYS,

AT THE MINUTE I RUN A TEKIN RS PRO IN MY XRAY T3 WITH AN LRP X12 13.5 MOTOR.

I WAS WONDERING WETHER THERE WOULD BE ANY EXTRA SPEED ADVANTAGE IF I WAS TO RUN A TEKIN REDLINE 13.5 MOTOR ALONG WITH MY RS PRO.

HAS ANY ONE TRIED THESE COMBOS OR?

ANY ADVICE WOULD BE HELPFUL

THANKS

NATHAN

Never run the RS or RS Pro without a cap, ever.

The caps do get hot. If the cap is hot that means there's a lo of ripple current in your setup. Weaker packs or simply a hard running setup. A 2nd cap of the same time will bring temps down.

That sounds is very odd. The first thing I'd try is another motor right out of the gate. Make sure you have the A to A , B to B, and C to C set correctly.

that was after changing motors, I swapped out the servo and now have the EPAs not at max and drove it up and down the street a few times and didn't get the noise/hacking.

That could have solved the problem, hopefully if the weather is ok Ill get out and test it at a track tomorrow

Caps truned up today (friday) thanks Kev

Do all the lights flash under full brakes?

Is your brake strength set to 100%?

There are a few things to check. All led's flashing while hitting full brakes is the first. 2nd is make sure your brake strength is turned up. Also if your transmitter has ABS turn it off.

Led's 3 and 5 flashing simply means you're in timing profile 1 or "spec" mode. This spec mode is also called "blinky" for the blinking led's. Switch to any other timing profile and it will stop.
