Default New to this Hobby/Sport

Hi all

I'm new to this and have just purchased a Mini MOnster Baja.

Just wondered whether there was anywhere near to Leamington Spa Where I could go and meet up with people race etc??

I see that there are clubs in tamworth and Hereford both in my opinion commutable from Leamington but all I can find is buggy racing etc??

Have I picked the wrong model or will I have to get a buggy as well??

THanks all

Bob

hi mate... best thing to do is to pop down your nearest club and see what they race, ask some questions and go from there... im sure most people will be more than willing to help...

hope that helps?

Ps... welcome to the world of RC!

Hi thanks for that advice.

I'm not sure where my local club it to be honest!

There is one in coventry but they all seem to be nitro powered larger buggys and truggys etc?

I really want to go down the micro electric route which is why I have ordered a Losi Mini Monster Baja!!

Anyone know where I could find my nearest micro club??

Thanks I'll take a look there!

Is there much sport or gathering in the 1/18 Mini MOnster Truck area then??

Or if I want to race etc would I have to get a buggy or a stadium truck??

there are quite a few people that race micros but its more things like rc18's, ftx blaze etc etc, 1/10th is much more popular to my knowledge

So I could race my monster with the normal buggys then!

Do you have any contact email addys for the Hereford Club?

I would just like to be a part of a community! My wife will prob be the one doing the racing as its really for her!!

I might invest in a 1/18th buggy at some point in the future!!

Thanks for all the help

I race at the Hereford Club too, and can only support what Cris (C0sie) has said.

Hope to see you soon. After tomorrow, our next club meeting is on the 23rd May.

Chris.
