Default Please Help me with my Mini Baja its stopped going!!

Hi

Today I received my mini Monster Baja and what fun it was!

That was until it stopped going after only 10 mins

It looks like the white plastic gear between the two motors( the slipper gear I think it is???) has come loose!

My question is how on earth do I take the motors out and the cover off to have a look inside it the screws don't seem to want to move no matter how hard I try and I'm afraid of stripping the head on the screw!!

Any Ideas?

Thanks Bob

This is the Losi mini truck, the same as the mini LST right? I think Ashley on here has had one, ash?

Maybe there are some instructions on the Losi website, but it sounds strange that the (spur) gear came off - was the truck 2nd hand or brand new?

It was brand new! Delivered Yesterday!

It is the same as the Mini LST2 just runs on Lipo no Ni-mh.

It didn't actually come off it is just really loos and spins freely around the shaft!!

I think I'll be calling up where I got it from and asking for something to be done about it!

As far as I know, for your first race meeting I dont think you need to be a BRCA member

I have had a post on there for a couple of days now and no-one has responded to it!!!

I have had another look at it now I'm home and it doesn't seem to be a loose nut issue!

I haven't got a clue what it is now or how to approach it!

Hi

Thanks for all your help I took it back to shop today they sorted it for me!

Got it back handed it over to the wife(It's her truck) 15 minutes later I turn around and she managed to hit the washing line post and sheer off one of the rear wheel nuts so parts on order and Will repair it for next weekend!!!

On the plus side whilst at the shop got myself a 1/18th Mini Baja Buggy!!

Going to try and get us both along to Tamworth Club so we can mix with people and get some help and maybe even race lol!!

Thanks all for your help!
