Fun racing on a grass track ful of features for all abilities. Location is confirmed as Gypsies Green - South Shields Even closer to the beach and closer to a pub with live music on Friday and Saturday nights, but more sheltered from the wind as we are in the centre of a velodrome. BBQs welcome (just dont burn your fingers) I know there were comments on us running RC4 timing equipment, NEAM will ensure everyones laps count. All AMB transponders will work, and anyone with an MRT will be offered a loaner AMB or an AMB handout. We will be running RC4 timing equipment this weekend so can anyone who has an MRT transponder let us know at booking in to ensure everyone's laps are counted! Thanks

 Just a quick note to say that we'll be up in South Sheilds bright and early with the shop tomorrow, so if any you guys need tyres sorting feel free to drop us a line on here or see us over the weekend. Looking forward to this one getting back to the grass tracks

Hows the weather/grass looking? I dont begrudge you guys cutting it if its wet. Looking forward to it now and got me some wet grass tyres just in case

Stopped raning a few hours ago and the track is drying out nicely, forecast is warm and cloudy for both day but warmer on the sunday !!!
Should be a good weekend racing ON the grass !!!  ha ha
