Default Coventry Regional R1

Thanks to all those who turned up today to make a great starting round to this years Regionals. Also, thankyou all for bearing with us on the track conditions, we know its a bit tired which is why work will be starting next week to replace a lot of the track.

So thanks again to all

Here are some pictures of todays racing. No many heats covered I am sorry as I was racing, marshalling and refereeing.

Thanks to coventry club. Awsome day's racing! Great way to start the 2011 season. And thanks of course to the midwest regional team for doing an awsome job of arranging regionals again this year.

Indeed, another great meeting perfectly (if a little quickly) run.

We were lucky with the weather too, apparently there were hail storms only a few miles away!

As for the track being a little tired I think you guys have done a good job laying out around the worst areas and yesterdays track was as enjoyable as any I've seen at Coventry for years.
Looking forward to the new improved coventry track soon (oh, and can you plant some trees or a hedge to keep the damn wind down )

awesome Neil plenty of the new HPI branding on my white DX4

We were lucky with the weather....it hammered it down about 35 mins after we finished....torrential!

Cant wait to see the new track too, hopefully more 10th friendly with some smaller bumps

Than again I'm used to tarmac....
