RC Tracks in Dubai
Looks like I have landed myself a job in Dubai that I can't turn away, only thing is I am going to miss RC racing.
Anyone know of any RC tracks in Dubai? |

In the park at Dubai Creek there is a tarmac on-road track that was built for the Kyosho world cup a few years back. This is a great facility overlooking the creek where they mostly race 1/10 nitro.
Next to the on-road track is an off-road track where they race 1/8th. As you would expect the surface is pretty sandy.

1/10 on road Nitro that could be worth looking at, I am going over in April for a familiarisation weekend so might get chance to have a look then.
Really would be cool if there was a decent RC track to race at, think there may also be a 1/8 track in Abu Dhabi which I think is a hours drive away. |

There used to be a Go-Kart facility on the right hand side of the main road on the way from the airport in to Muscat, closer to the airport than to town.
There was a tarmac on-road RC track there along with BMX tracks and of course the Go-Kart track. However, that was a long time ago...... Let me know if you find out that it's still there. Martin Found it here; http://www.kartingasia.com/kart_trac...rack-t151.html The RC part is smaller than I remember (behind the 'grand' stand for the kart track), so probably worth looking elsewhere...
