Default Euro Offroad Series announced

From www.redrc.net

The organisers of the hugely popular Euro Touring Series will bring their successful concept off-road with the announcement that they are to create a ‘Euro Offroad Series’. Catering for 1:10 electric off-road classes, the EOS is the result of 12-months of lobbying by a number of top off-road racers to get ETS founders Uwe Rheinard and Scotty Ernst to bring the profile and fun element of their electric touring car series to 1:10 off-road, a category which is currently enjoying a strong resurgence in Europe.

The first race will be in Sweden Tomelilla 1-3 of April on a indoor track, 100% clay.

I'd love to be there but unfortunately it falls right before some important uni deadlines. I'm hoping to make the full EOS series over winter though

Awesome track used to love running on these sort of tracks when i was out in the states but as has been said more jumps! where i used to race had a quad that if you had the balls and the right line could just do it in one hit one guy even managed a backflip and landed it then we all went crazy motors and if you didnt do a flip at least once a heat then you were laughed at

Anyone done any costs of getting to this?

What tyres?

the usual questions really.

Cheers

Tires has not been decided yet ! It only states that "To be annoced"
But in the touring series "ETS" they use handout tires so if we are lucky it maybe
the case for this series to.
The entry fee is according to http://eos.redrc.net/rules/
50 Euro for first class / 80 Euro for both classes
