Good idea to cool the car down, you should take the snow with you at every meeting. It is a lot cheaper than a fan too!

because the most action she see's is being carried from the shelf to the workbench for more bling. 100% shelf queen. future plans - install crystal clear shock bodies and caps with blue shock oil. and get another s2 so i can have one to actually run. |

the wing mounts were made by trinity for the xx4. good luck finding a set. these took me a while to find. i finally posted a wtb on rctech and found a user on there that had a set. i have kept my eyes open for another set but have yet to find anymore. i'm sure somebody out there has a set or two though. |

Lowclasscc: if you switch the rear hubs side for side the rear camber links will be straighter If they are zero degree toe in then you can run switch the left and right hand sides over
FT shock top pivot balls would look nice, and a set of blue threaded shock collars. I like a bit of bling and have to say that is a cracking looking shelf queen. |

i bought some blue alloy piggyback caps and was planning to get the blue alloy adjusters but i wanted the bodies blue too. yet i was wanting to stick with the threaded bodies. when i located the clear HG body and cap set i decided that was the way i wanted to go with the blue shock oil. i felt the piggyback caps i bought for it were going to hurt the looks and not look very good. as time goes on i will be working on picking up all the smaller blue bits. shock mounts, ball links, screws washers nuts.. i also have my eye on the blue alloy gear cover. i will have to see if the rouge elements adjuster will fit it once i get it. if not i will stick with the black rpm gear cover. |

Some pics of my new CR2. It's my first AC car and I must say so far I am really pleased with the overall quality of the kit. Nice sweet CF, no drilling, no filing required (except maybe for the pulley cover, easy job).
I have fitted the CF motor plate with the idler kit and meshing is perfect, no weird noises. I wanted to have a gear diff on my car, so I used the Desert Truck diff and housing. It fits perfectly so you only have to use slightly longer tranny screws or, as I did, drill the first millimeters of plastic. Parts needed are :

What do you think of the performance of the geared diff?
I can see the merits for using one as I've have drive issues myself when too much load comes off the inside rear wheel. If it's working well, what grease are you using in it? Is it having any negative effects on early and mid cornering? |

Can you run the standard layshaft with the geared diff?

Currently I use 1000 CPS diff oil. It feels a little stiff now, I have to see if it frees up after some runs. Yes, I have standard layshaft, idler, bearings, dogbones. The only special parts are the ones I listed previously.
