Until you see they've left in the bloody purple bits too. Still I guess the fact they are willing to consider other colours is a start .

Sweet! I'd only wish they'd drop that purple anodizing! It reminds me too much of old Serpent fuel track cars and Mega engines...
And it's kinda gay...

when I first saw that front bulkhead, I thought this was going to be a 4WD with 2wd buggy levels of front end kickup. seriously, that bulkhead is gigantic! you could just about fit a small differential in there.
that being said, this thing looks properly awesome and if they'd just drop the purple ano in favor of a nice crimson/blood red, it would look absolutely sinister

Just out of interest...why do 2WD buggies have so much castor in comparison to 4WD buggies?

with a 2WD the weight it much further back so transfering the weight forward into the corner is normally a good thing. just a little interweb engineer theory of mine (to do with kick-up not caster - Id assume that extreme caster is a by-product of this)

I'm actually really impressed with the looks of this, I'd say Schumacher have pulled a blinder here.
interested to see where things have ended up inside

It's a lovely looking car alright. Those front arms give it a really unique look - a bit like the prototype Kyosho RB5 that they ran at the Worlds 2005.
My first guess would have been that the angle allowed the front shocks to sit lower but it's hard to tell if that's the case anyway. I guess the front bulkhead is so big maybe to contain the steering? or just to make the shock tower a lot smaller / less prone to damage?

I'd love to know what software they use to design it and wheather they use any HPC kit for simulations etc.

It's called pbb and you can only get it at Schumacher... Because it's not been designed with cad, phil does everything on the drawing board.
