Default new kit price??

hey guys... been out of the loop a while (ie 15 years or so)

how much do you reckon i can get full new kit for 1/10 off road 2wd??

so thats 2ghz tx, decent speedo, brushless motor, set of LiPo's, Charger, fastish servo???

i know ill smash the car to tiny pieces if i get a super fast motor but all the other stuff i would wanna get decentish as the cheap things used to drive me up the wall....
any thing you recommend? any major compatibility issues i might have???
rough ball park ish figure for price??? just so i know what im aiming for...

whats the good stuff? whats the stuff to avoid???

thanks for any input....

ste

Buying the right stuff you could get all new cheapish reasonable stuff for around
£350. All new highend stuff could cost anywhere upto £1000 (easily...)

On top you've got spares, tools, polybutler/hauler, etc

no worries with tools and all that....
still got my old boxes tool kit think the old pit table is stil in the garage somewhere (talk about hoarding)
the reason i wanna come back to racing is the new electronics.... ive been to a couple of clubs now and the lipo/brushless/programmable speedos/2.4 no crystals radio gear has blown me away... i think RC could be getting a resurgence!!!
so it pretty much costs the same as it did 15 years ago.... difference is i earn a bit more than when i was 15 and the kit is soooo much nicer....
you could spend over a grand on a quick set up 20 years ago... and 350 would make you competitive.....

as for the car.... oh yep... i would love one of those losi's ... i think there another thing thing that will change the sport.. they look amazing.. i bet they win some big events this year. just worried about getting one of those and looking like an idiot at the back of the grid with my shakey driving...
