Similar story for me, used them once at the rear (if memory serves me right - which probably means I'm wrong) and never really liked it. Could be an option to be tried on a bumpy track such as Coventry if I get there over the winter but other than that I haven't felt the need too

yeah sure as I was hoping try it back to back aswell jus to see the difference.

No template, just measured it and drilled, worked a treat.

I got the optional shock mount kit today, but didnt order the alloy rear gear box housing U3555.

Only just read on the instructions that i need it. Is there a temp solution using the plastic ones?

yes, space the shock tower off the back of the mount by aprox 6mm this gives the shock enough spacing to mount to the rear of the wishbone without to much of an angle
