Front:
Hard springs x2 (.61 spring rate)
Medium springs x2 (.56 spring rate)
Soft springs x2 (.52 spring rate)

Rear:
Hard springs x2 (.43 spring rate)
Medium springs x2 (.4 spring rate)
Soft springs x2 (.37 spring rate)

I copied this from the Tamiya USA website. I have no idea how the spring rate is measured.

I received my set of Tamiya BB springs the other day and compared them to my new TLR 22 Low Frequency springs - they are very similar in length. This was my biggest issue as most know that typical rear springs (AE, TLR) are around 2.75" long - too long to get a Tamiya 4WD rear end down to a normal ride height. The only alternativer was to cut the spring down by one or two coils - which I hated doing, they never seemed to sit right. I have been running TLR front springs in the front of my 511, and TLR 22T front springs in the rear of my 511. I do run TLR big bores shocks, but it made no difference with TRF Aeration shocks (std bore) or not - the 2.75" long springs we always too long. So, all this to say, the new TLR springs are 2.5", the same as the new Tamiya BB springs - so if you'd prefer a more common measurement for your spring rates - use TLR's LF BB springs!

Default Big bore spring rates

Don't know if its just me but I'm struggling to find out what the new TRF spring rates are in Lb's? & how they compare to the Losi springs.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I've put a Losi pink on the rear (2.3 Lb) until I get the TRF springs but would like to know how they compare to ie the TRF big bore white?

Anyone any ideas?

Anyone has figured out the spring rates already?

I need a 2.5 lb/in rear spring (wild guess: yellow?) and a 4.2 lb/in front spring (wild guess: blue?) for indoor racing.

These numbers may actually be similar to the "c" rating used by XRay - multiply the above by 5.71 to get your lbs. equivalent.

For example:

Rear, hard spring, .42x5.71=2.40lbs

My best guess anyhow.
