The whole shocks off the xxx-cr and xx4 wont fit on the xx4 the rear shock bodies and shafts are diffrent on the xx4 the xx4 acutally uses truck rear shocks.

Also BK2 rear hubs wont fit the xx4.

Most people who run the car have changed the rear wishbones and rear hubs to xxx-cr ones.

As for obtaining spares ive never had a problem i think that losi spares if you go to the right place are the easest to find. www.dms-racing.com

Thanks Both.

Answering to the last, Obviously I prefer purchasing the original parts and nowadays that point wouldn't be a problem. But 2 thing may count:
-We cannot preview near future, so compatibilities wouldn't be unneeded.
-Looking in Hop-Ups to improve or stiff...they are hard to find and, even when car was first-released, only a few things were available. So knowing models compatibility makes possibly to find another Hop-Up parts that fit.

In other hand, my model isn't exactly an WCE but the original XX4 with some parts updated. ¿Would I need new covers and chassis to use Ballraced direction?

I definitely advice to fit Schumacher Cat SX front wishbones. I tried them during my last race with XX4 on very tricky indoor track in Wien. I broke 3 Crashback wishbones before those from Schuey and then none. My dad modified his XX4 to Schuey after few breakages and he's fine since. Definitely don't forget to do front brace mod or you'll end up with broken front bulkhead.

Losi already do metal diff outdrives for the XX4. You won't have a hope in hell of fitting S400 geared diffs.

Why then all of us use the plastic ones with or without alu savers?

Could yo please tell me the reference, is exactly for XX4 or another model?

I'll try SX's front arms...nice advice.

Ashley, Looking in XXX-4 and XX-4 shock bodies and shaft references are exactly the same.

Easiest way to have steel outdrives is to get XXX-CR diff or just diff rings + outdrives I belive that's all.

I've to get one to a complete rebuilt in my XXX, so I'll do the experiment for sure.

Probably because of decent years running nitro cars, but I need as much metal as posible to ensure thougness. Now with LiPo's weight problems dissapiared.

Something about ball raced direction?

Lochness, To use front schumy arms do it need further modifications than simply changing one by another?

yes there are some modifications needed to do - you'll need to drill bigger holes if I remember well and needs little bit of shaving off material on wishbones where front bulkhead goes.
