I think the new pics actually shows us how to remove and insert the batteries! You will need to remove the spur to be able to fit it in there!

yep, i have always wanted a car where i need to strip the transmission down to get the cells in and out, at last my dreams have been answered.

apart from that, it looks good, but a little too intricate in some places I feel.

If you get the LiPo version there wont be as much need to keep stripping the drivetrain.
