Yokomo prices
Has anyone noticed how high the price the YZ2 has got, I could not believe the price of the option parts too £48.00 for a alloy rear top mount.
The prices on a well know shop puts the YZ2 £100 higher then a comparable belt driven 2Wd buggy. How long will it be before a 2Wd buggy sells for £400.00 not long at this rate. |

I heard somewhere that the original YZ-2 was over spec'd for the price...
If you think of all the shines bits you get in the kit compared to others. But yes, the exchange rate doesn't help

As has been said exchange rate, if the pound drops Japanese stuff soon gets expensive. I think, and I may be wrong but the latest batch of kyosho cars seems to have crept up a bit. Knock on from brexit sadly

Japanes branded cars have always been expensive. I ran Yokomo cars when you couldn't get them here and it was crazy money to get them straight from Japan. Unfortunately it doesn't differ for shops.
Upside is the quality is second to none.
