I'm running a 6.5 and run a 23 pinion. I'd have thought a 24 or 25 would do depending on the length of the straight.

According to the manual on a nosram 8.5t use a 23 pinion.
I use the kit standard 22 pinion on a 7.5t

Canny because anything less than a 22 won't fit when you're running 3deg anti squat because the motor hits the rear pivot block unless you run a larger spur.

I'll probably drop to a 22 indoor because I can't run anything smaller.

Still a great car though.

I'm running a 24 pinion with a Lrp X20 8.5 and this feels perfect.

Started with a 22 but even on a small track the car tops in the middle of the straight.
The pinion also depends on the motor u use, speed passion for example likes a higher pinion ( 26/27)
