Are you running sensored or sensorless?

OK, as a starter, do you have v200 firmware, if so, here is a starting point.

FDR 5.9

Sensored mode ON
Neutral Width - 8
Throttle Profile - 3 or 4

Motor timing - 0
ESC Timing - 30
Turbo Boost - max
Turbo Delay, if your not hitting full throttle in the infield, leave it at 0.5s if you are hitting full throttle, move it up a tenth or two.

That should get you going well, check temps though.

Got a B1 in my Micro-t, plugged it in to the hotwire but on the interface I can't actually see the button for later updates or apply changes?

EDIT: Found them, my screen wasn't big enough on my netbook to view them

Hi,
I noticed that you are all talking about version 200 but on the website, the last update only shows the version 198 (see link below)
http://www.teamtekin.com/hotwire.html
How or where can we get the last one?
Thanks for info

Nico

Just purchased a tekin RS....it's NOT the pro version.

I know it says on the box that it will run down to a 5t brushless. I have 6.5 and 5.5 motors. I know the 6.5 is comfortably within it's operating range, but will a 5.5 in an X-11 cause any thermalling issues or other weird issues?

somebody, somewhere, is not understanding this. I have said which car it is in twice now.

The Tekin RS speed controller is in Team Xtreme Predator X11. It's an off-road, 4wd buggy.

The motor I am questioning is an LRP 5.5 bonded rotor....

Ok when you say X-11 the Team Predator doesn't spring to mind. Not exactly a common car IMO

Also LRP do an X11 motor so I can see where confusion can come.

Anyway I'll leave you to it....

Glenn, how did you get on, with the setup after?

Burgie, you are really pushing the limit of the ESC, running a 5.5 or even the 6.5, you are going to be on the limit of thermalling, make sure you have plenty of air getting in, run a fan blowing onto the solder posts too, and that LRP is going to get toasty too.

Essentially what I was advised for my Cat SX so I went for the Pro. I'm running speed passion 5300 30C LIPOs

That reminds me I need to rotate the ESC so the posts are not under the upper deck so they can get more air.

Heat issues have been resolved after upgrading to the new firmware and backing off the timing, cheers DCM
