Talking eden park winter warmer

first of all i want to start by sayin thank u 2 matt benfield and steve brooke and the other guys for bringing this venue back to life! it was fantastic to get back racing round eden park once again.
i attendend the first of the winter warmers 2day and it was a great success. all their hard has paid off with 30 + drivers at this meeting Hopefully the numbers will grow as the club club gathers pace its still early days. it was a very well run meeting with a great atmosphere. the line starts worked. i thought this made every round a race from start to finish lol . if ur reading this i would highly reccomend a visit to this track u will go home with a big grin on ur face i certainly have.

thanx again

What a good day we all seemed to have!!!! Congrats Kev on taking the win!!!! Oh and sorry Paul for running into your car before the start of the final and ripping your front wing off My bad!!!!!!!
I will be sorting through the pics I took, almost 300 of them, BUT, well, I aint no Jimmy, so, there are alot of blurred pics, but also many good ones, I will get some posted soon.
Thanks to Matt for running the meeting, and to all who helped!!!!!!
I am sure this track will go from here and become even better!!!!

Thanks for the kind comments.

I enjoyed the day very much and when you read the responses of the drivers who post their opinions, it makes all the hard work and stress worth it. We know we have a lot more to do for the future but with the support we have from the regulars, I am confident of us achieving it.

The line starts were actually very clean despite running straight into a 90-degree first corner. One suggestion which we may have to think about for is a reverse grid final!

Next meeting is 4 November and will follow the same proven format but of course a new track layout.

Thanks again and we hope to see even more of you in November...

Well done Matt a great meeting. Interesting how clean the astro became on the racing line.
If I counted correctly there were 7 F1's at this meeting which is probably enough competition for anyone at one time. Good to see Andy Carter back after all this time.
