Default Newbie - Tom Griffiths mate.....

Hello all.

I came down last Friday, the 10th May and thoroughly enjoyed myself, meeting some great blokes, and I even came to the pub afterward :-)

I used to race at a club in Aylesbury over 20 years ago, starting with a classic Ultima, then onto a Cougar and Procat. So, from just one visit I think I have the bug again and I will most likely start sensibly from scratch again and buy something suitable to begin with.

I am looking forward to meeting you all and learning from your experiences!

See you soon

Ryan

Hi Ryan, I only got introduced briefly but it was still nice to meet you.
Before you buy anything come along again and have a chat, I'm sure we can help point you in the right direction on what to buy to start with, and possibly some good second hand stuff. Best to start with one of the popular cars at the club so spares and advice are easy to come by

James

Thanks James.

Yes it was nice to meet you too.

I have been attempting to make sense of 20+ years of development since I stopped, it's a bit

I am after 2wd and quite like the look of the Durango as I don't have a huge budget.

Hello Sir, it was nice to meet you.

Thank you for agreeing to bring the car on Friday, I recall you said it came with a steering wheel controller, that's the only issue I have as I would want sticks from the off as I used to use and prefer these. Maybe I could get a cheap set of sticks though....

I am very interested in the Durango 210 too

Thumbs up

Well, I've gone and done it. After reading through reviews and opinions on here, I have purchased a Durango 210 RTR version, I also purchased some Core Code sticks as I can't be doing with a steering wheel transmitter! I just need to purchase the other items now, such as battery, charger, tyres etc!

So, look out for the out of control Durango getting in your way sometime soon
