whats up with every one today, all seem arsey ..
it looks like a good starter , cant be that expensive can it ?. id like to know how it went . didnt a few people race these sb sports a while back, the likes of cockerill and such ?, they didnt look too bad at some of the york meetings i saw them at when people used to run them. is it just fads people go through or is it that people like to be different to others and run things car wise no one else has ? cause the car would eat itslef to bits on all the metal parts, and what wasn't metal, was as floppy as a floppy thing on a rather windy day!!! it was excusable on the SB Sport, but should of been solved with the V2. The V2 was still born as it was sooooo long in coming, and then it was only a little stiffer than the previous car, and it still ate it's metal parts.

Its becuase Academy spent too long making plastic warship kits, they forgot what metal was.
If they were to make a motor, they'd try a plastic one. The FRP touring car was ballistic in low-grip conditions though.

For a while I considered the SB Sport as a purchase because of the low cost and cool shell.
Oh well. (strokes bright red Dark Impact). Elliott. |

It's not 4WD, its 2WD. No shaft!
4WD MT? Never seeeeenn one of thooose before ... HPI have very sadly proven there isn't a market for them. The HPI RS4MT rocks. Elliott. |

The worst bit of it all is the fact that, once you have fortified the SB, it is a good car, but you basicaly buy the kit for the transmission and suspension.

Well with those big tyres, the extra leverage will make it eat its own steel really quick.... I mean so quickly, if you stare at the car long enough, it'll just be a pile of floppy plastic.
