Looking forward to getting the car sorted, Fibre - Lyte are only at Stokesley so thats not far from me either, so may get a rear shock mount from them at some point.

Isobarik, sounds good, I haven't got kids yet but I know I'll be like that some day.
What zxs? Are you on about the zxr sport or the one i have and iso have pictured. If a zxs does it have black yz10 wheels and with a three piece chassis? If yes thats one i sold ages back.

Not sure about the chassis and wheels, it had a big black wing and think it was white/blakc/blue shell, was smart looking.

Well if its a ZXS the going rate for a standard one is £400.

i'm the same, my son likes his rc cars and i've also purchased him lots of spares for all his cars and he hasnt broke anything either yet, well except the front arm brace when he hit my foot at full power....ouch!

he has an ftx blaze and a lrp shark and a team associated b4,

i have 3 lrp sharks, 1 lazer zx-5 with a milled atomic carbon chassis (1 of only 2 milled ones ever made) and 2 (so far) zxr's...

The ZX-S was £190, looked like new and was in the front window. Maybe it could have been a ZX-5? Think I may be getting confused....

Picture coming hopefully within two weeks. The picture will be used on the Kamtec website as well, just have to wait for customblitz to finish the job.

Yes its a hard job to make it fit as the shell wasnt designed for the Lazer so is a lot of working out the areas you need to cut out. No cutting lines for the gear cover so you need to be patient.

I like the look of the tomcat shell. Nice looking and definately one to consider due to the bad reviews of the tbg shell.

I'll keeping my eye on the kamtec website.

You guys should know me by now, im a bit of a perfectionist and the items that I get made tend to be better than the originals. The shell is a stunner but Keith will uopdate his site as soon as I get my shell back from my painter.

Also I should be getting another spur gear proto type in the post soon, with not only the ball holes but with the B44 or B4 hexes on either side as well. I also think I may have an answer for EMA as well on this, use the ZX slipper system as the metal plates should have a bigger contact area so I will try and update.

Well the second prototype has come through in the post today and I have fitted this to a standard Lazer ZX slipper, obviously without the balls and instead with clean plates on either side of the hex pads and will test tomorrow night. I may opt for the ZXR Mk1 slipper if the ZX one isn't up for the job.

Ema, it fits nicely as you can see and the contact surface is more than the standard ZXR hyper clutch so should be up to the job.

I will update on Friday on what I have tested.

That looks wicked. If it works ok will it be going into some kind of production or is it a one off. Great how it uses parts more available than zx parts

Ron, when i am happy then it will be available from RW Racing. But needs proper testing in the zx and zxr slipper systems before that can happen. Yes the use of an associated slipper pad system is because i burn out the standard kyosho pads so are not up to the job and hope that my design works so zero burn outs happen.
