Default Meeting to look at new track - Wed 7.30pm

I have organised a meeting in the bar area at Whitcliffe Mount Sports Centre on Wednesday evening at 7.30 pm so that we can assess what we have and what we need to run the indoor meetings.

Update:

Storage container has now been moved from Batley Sports Centre to Whitcliffe Mount Sports Centre - not sure what is in there!

Approximately 250 metres of fire hosing has been collected from Fire Service by James McFadyean and he will bring it on Wednesday.

We will need to look at the space available and decide whether the balcony is suitable to use as a rostrum or whether we need a portable one.

If you would like to join us please feel free to do so. We will decide on Wednesday whether we are able to run a meeting on Sunday or whether we need to wait until the 20th.

Very positive, quite a number of members arrived to express their views.

The hall is a similar size to that we had at Batley Sports Centre, and the floor appears to be a similar surface. The access to the container is pretty reasonable, although a couple of metres further than we previously had, its accross flat tarmac which is a huge bonus.

I hope to speak to Dianne, so we can put together an information pack with all the details, but I think its safe to announce the first meeting date which will be February 20th.

Watch this space for more comprehensive details

Thats excellent news Jon

Must apologise for my absense last night, the missus had made plans which I couldn't get out of otherwise I would've been down. On the whole though it sounds very positive

Hi folks.
It seems I've lost dianne's number so thought it would be best to put this info here!
I went to the sports centre to sort the pa system out but unfortunately it's completely shot!! No hope of being used I'm afraid so we will have to bring our full pa kit!! If this is a problem I can bring mine. Just let me know
Thanks
Steve

Thanks for the efforts Steve. We can bring the Club PA so it is not a problem.
