Default Ebay.....

Well I won something on t'Ebay yesterday and thought that I'd been a bit screwed over and the person had bid up the price to my maximum (bidder ID's kept private) so never paid for it straight away.

Just remembered and the guy is now no longer a registered user. I was thinking about reporting it to Ebay. Do you think I still should? How do you do it?

Should I still go through with it or not?

Think I'll leave it well alone to be honest. Wouldn't mind but the guy looked like a shop in the US and had been registered since 2004 with over a 1000 +ve feedback!

How do I send a complaint to Ebay, can't find where to do it.

Default i use ebay all the time its ace

just rememebr when bidding if for eg something was at £1.99 current bid it doesnt mean thats all that guy has bid you can leave higher max bidds like £30 or what ever and every time you bid a higher max bidd will auto bid higher than you till you reach there max limit bid it does look like ur being ripped of but not so it just means that that current bidder has left a higher max bid hope that helps

I think the point being made, is you end up bidding against a non-existent bidder to push the price of the item up, so instead of paying say £20, you bid against someone and end up paying £30 because the other bidder won at £31 and then withdrawn, leaving you at £30 and not £20.

Wow, cheers for that bigred, I do know how Ebay works!

I put my bid in and was highest bidder, then was strangly bid right up to exactly my limit, which I thought odd. The fact that the bidder ID's were being kept secret was also strange.

Ever tried looking on Ebay for a book about grammer?

I just don't feel that people should type in forums in "text speak". It's causing the younger generation to think its normal.

Sorry to offend.

EDIT: Yes I did read it, but it was hard work. Don't you think its much easier to read something with commers, full stops and correctly spelt words? Interested in your opinion.
