Default Tyres For Astro Turf

Im after a little advice, Im going to be racing on astro turf for the first time (off road schumacher sv2) but I have not got a clue which tyres to use.

REARS

mini pins
mini spikes
full spikes ets

Fronts

staggers low profile
cut staggers low profile
mini pins

any help would be great.

schumacher mini spike yellow for the rear or ballistic buggy greens for the wet

low profile stagger cuts for the front

That's a good starting point, but depending on how grippy the astro is, you might be better with non-cut staggers.

Also, to complicate things a little more... Some astro tracks work well with Mini Pins, where others demand that you use Mini Spikes otherwise you will have zero grip. It depends on the individual track and the amount of grip it has.

If you know which track you will be racing at its probably worth asking specifically for that track as a regular on here will know best.

If you are not sure though then Mini Spikes are the safe option as they should work just about anywhere wherea s Mini Pins may not....

Thanks for the advice guys, Im racing at stoke nitro on the 16th sep as they are running an electric class. I have got all the tyres mentioned so I should be covered lol.
