Default Pirelli P-Zero Rosso

Need two new tyres, anyone got any views on the above tyre?

I would normally pick Michelin Pilot Sport 2, but they don't come in 215/45/18

Car has about 260bhp, so need something pretty decent.

It's a bit of an odd size, personally I would go for 225 as they are a bit more common.

I can recommend either of these http://www.camskill.co.uk/m61b0s557p...R18_95Y_XL_TL_

Didn't rate them on my Leon Cupra on 225/40/18

Micheldever have mentioned these - FALKEN ZEIX ZE912

I've got a pair of P-Zero 225/40/18 that have around 3.5-4mm across, why not take these off me so you can try them? Then if they're ok, put new ones on in a few months

£35 for the pair if you can come to collect (Newbury).

If you get any Falkens avoid the 912's!! Go for the 452's if any but they're not perfect.....

Best "value" Tyre is the Hankook V12 Evo, just look it up - they are incredible tyres not just in terms of value for money but sheer performance wet or dry.

Check out www.camskill.co.uk - Usually the cheapest you'll find them for.

I agree with Nick, Goodyear eagle f1's are a great all-round tyre and they wear real good too.

Get the new Michelin PSS, I use them on my GT3 and they are brilliant.

Cheers

If you want a wet tyre then the uniroyal rainsport 2s are the buisness. Don't know if they do them in your size though.

Have a look on this site for what's good and what's not http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/
Obviously with that much horsepower steer clear (pardon the pun) of the cheap chinese rubber that's about and go with a good brand.

Just noticed Nick mentioned the Hankooks EVO V12's. These are popular and not badly priced. Also grip wise they are not far of the market leaders in the tests.

i've got p-zero rossos on teh v70, 225/45r17 and they are much better than std ditchfinders, especially in the snow. They seem to last a tiny bit longer too
