Anytime guys!
I really love the Losi cars, and I'm the only driver up here running them, so I'm determined to show it's still a great platform against the midmotors and others, even on carpet and astro. I've had a fantastic first season in the 10th Offroad classes, and this car brought me a 3rd place in the national series, and the 9th spot at the Nordic championship on Astro. I won one qualifying round and qualified 4th out of 60 drivers at the Nordics, and if I'm not all wrong, I qualified either just in front of, or just behind David Ronnefalk. Being up there, with those guys, in my first ever full offroad season(I was a touring dude), was the greatest result I have ever achieved. So the XXX-CR ain't all that bad:P

If it can run that well no wonder Losi dont feel any pressure to bring out a new 2wd!

That's why I kept this car all season. I've had a few setbacks, and if it had been a few years ago, I had gotten another car. This year I've stuck with this car, learned to know it, and taken advantage of all hints and tips from the Losi camp. I'm better than ever:P Team Losi FTW:P

When you heighten the rear pivot block with shims, you need to heighten the tower as well

To keep the shock and link settings the same, while heightening the roll center. Makes it jump better when it doesn't roll around too much;-)

My xxx-cr just came in the post!
Had to take the front wing off, spoilt the losi lines! |

|
||||
Congrats, now put the wing back on if you want it to go round corners

Thats not a wing, its a shock tower guard! my club has ordered new carpets so is quite strict on covering protruding screws. Does provide decent downforce however!

Sorry Pete the last person Id take steering advice from is you!

ha ha ha - if you don't like the large wing (which transformed the car imo) then I have some of the smaller wings that come with the shell - they fit on the front body mount and sit inside the shock tower.
Leave them clear and you won't 'spoil the Losi lines' |

Pete, maybe I could super glue a pic of your face on the front of the car. Im sure that will provide plenty of downforce! ha ha ha

Well, it would make the car look a lot better it is true, but I am getting worried about you now!
