Default Anyone tried the MM3 set up

All the set ups I see for the DEX210 are with the MM4 set up - has anyone tried the MM3 - and what are their thoughts?

I have thought about trying this out before, in the winter a club that normally does indoor on road did off road. The carpet is super high grip (I think its due to the additive that's in the tyres of the on road cars ) and I reckoned it would have been good but there were always sections of this track with this kind of wood/cardboard stuff on it which was really slippery. If it was all carpet I would have definitely given it a try.
