Default Lipo Batterys and Holders for mardaves

Hi guys,

I am about to start using lipo batterys as got a brushless kit on the way at my local club.

I am just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for batterys that will fit a Mardave V12 and what battery tray/ holder i would need.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Tempest.

Any hard case single cell lipo will fit into your mardave. You may also find that they fit into your standard battery mounts. However if you are struggling to get your car up to the weight limit (normally 1kg for brushless and lipo) then the standard battery trays waste a lot of space that weight could be placed in.

All I did is make two small carbon brackets to locate the lipo. Then tape the battery in:

Hope this helps
Karl

I have some Overlander 2 Cell 1600 for my SC18 and allthough its not hard case it sits inside the lexan tray so I think/hope will be protected enough. It does look quite protected and its a really good fit, might just get some foam for added protection.
