Default Battery Charge Rates on Batterys for my B4.1 and SC18

Hi GUys

I run my sc18 on overlander 1600 2s batts and my b4.1 has 3300 hpi 2s batts.

I just wondered how do know what the max charge rate is on these batts? for the Overlanders it states 2C but I am unsure what that translates to in amps.

My charge gos up to 4 amps charge rate is it safe to charge at this rate ?

C being the nominal capacity, then

overlander 1600 2s batts
1c = 1.6 amps
2c = 3.2 amps

3300 hpi 2s batts.
1c = 3.3amps
2c only if the makers advise it

2C means 2 times the capacity. The capacity is measured in milliamp-hours (ignore the hours bit for now)

1600 mA = 1.6 Amps

2 times 1.6 = 3.2 Amps

Unless the HPI cells quote a higher rate, you are probably best sticking to 3A for both.
