22T chassis length vs 22 chassis

What is the exact difference (millimeters) ?? Between 22 and 22T.

Not sure as I only own the TLR22
Got these from the Losi Website

TLR22 - Wheelbase:11.24 in (285.50mm)


TLR22T - Wheelbase:11.3-11.41 in (286-290mm)

My understanding is that the 22T chassis is 3mm longer than the 22

I don't have the exact measurement but it's between 2-4mm longer. 3mm is probably the correct answer as stated above.

Length difference is so minor you'd be hard pressed to notice it holding one up to the other.
Big difference is that the T chassis has 30-degree front kick, compared to 20 for the B chassis.

Would there be any benefits of going to the 22 buggy length opposed to the longer 22t frame what’s your taught on the handling.

True - to an extent. But the actual kick in the chassis is 25 degrees. The final kick is tunable via the front block and/or shim in both cases. The truck comes with the 3o degree front block whilst the buggy comes with shims to adjust the kick from 25 deg to 20 deg (although both the block and/or the shims are options for either the Buggy or the Truck depending on which product you are starting from.

@ canon67 - assume you are starting from the Truck and you are asking what effect the shorter buggy chassis would have?

to my mind, the difference would be slight (as Robby also suggests) but to be fair, the TLR engineers must have considered the additional length as being noticeable during their track testing else they wouldn't have bothered to tool up a new chassis plate.

As to whether a mere mortal such as I would notice the difference - I suspect not. Sometimes I've managed to go out on track with my dampers in different locations on the shock tower from left to right and not felt it. The problem then comes when the the run is good - do you change it back or leave it as is?
