Default BK2 axle measurement

Does anyone have a BK2 knocking around that someone could check a measurement on for me please? I need to know a measurement on the rear axle - specifically the distance of the centre of the roll pin hole to the face where the inside bearing rests up against. Hope someone can help!!! Cheers, Mark.

Yep, I bought some Xfactory axles for a BK2 restoration project, but when the axles are assembled as per the manual the roll pin hole is partially obstructed by the alloy spacer that the wheel rests against. I have a feeling the Xfactory axles aren't quite long enough, hence wanting to know the exact measurement so if I can see if it is the part that is not right or something else. Cheers, Mark.

Sorry. Pressed the wrong button. As I was saying I have just measured one at 15.7mm ( plus or minus 0.1mm) . It probably came off a BK1 but I think they are the same as the BK2.
John.

No they're not John, BK2 are longer....

X-Factory XF5661 axles are fractionally shorter than the BK2 axles, which were used in the X6's.
When the BK2 axles were used they did a great job when run with lots of drrop on an X6, but were just a fraction too long, which meant that at full plunge the driveshaft could hit the diff nut still, hence when X-Factory had MIP make axles for them, they made them the correct length needed for the X6 (which is close to but a fraction shorter)
