It's made by "red workshop". Awaiting more information from the maker.

It's interesting. I've been thinking about centro chassis designs/improvements recently after I discovered mine bent having had carbon braces fitted from new.
This looks like is may work, it's rigid with the ali side pods, and using the carbon at the rear for some flex, retaining some of the desired properties of the kit chassis, but without the bends up front. Very interested to see how this develops...

Looks like it has a GT2 front top and bottom plate as well as steering components. Wonder what the gearbox is....

Carbon rudebits is probably the best at the moment the longer one ;0)
Won't bend plus then you have the length the rest of the team are testing

Hi Neal !

This is an old version of my own "design".
Everything started with the S2 when I came back to rc three years ago.
I also had a centro but with my low driving skills I bent the alloy chassis , then I had no other choice to finish ina hurry my prototype.

Yes the front of the car is the GT2.As in the first version of the S2.Also the SK1 buggy (Made and develloped by Nicolas Benneventi , which won several times the French championship drove by Julien Formentin) inspired me.
The gearbox is a Centro Gearbox but I'm working on a self designed GB.Same for hinge pin braces.

Side pods are not alloy but a mix of polyamide and alloy.Abandonned in the new version , polyamide is prefered for more twisting.

Based on the same approach , I also designed a kit for the Kyosho/vega mid motor , which won the CML offroad masters , drove by Ahmed Kerfati.

I'm actually trying to have a studio shooting session to offer a complete article about this asso/cml based car which is named XO.

Fantastic finished result Rednoise!

I take it with the removal of the rear gearbox turn-buckle brace the rear of the chassis flexes a bit more (than the C4.1), benefiting grip?

Is the rear shock tower your design?

Does the GT2 front chassis alter the steering geometry compared to the standard B4?

Had you considered the X6 front chassis piece and standard B4 top plate?

Is it shorty lipo only.

How does it handle compared with the C4.1?

Looks fantastic and should perform well!

Hi all ,

removing the rear t-buckle gave a bit more rear grip , but I'll put it back as the flex is too important regarding motor milling strength.

Yes the rear shock tower is home designed.

Dunno about the geometry comparison GT2/B4 , but I can tell you it offers more steering.

shorty and saddle version , large and lengthwise (C4 style , 22 style) position for both kind of lipo.

The wheel base is 8mm longer than C4 so I think it's easier.

Thanks everyone for your comments , price tag via pm.

cheers.

Alloy gearbox should be tested during winter indoor season...
