Supastox futaba s9650 position
Hi, unusually race a Mardave Cec which is great.
But my local club is mainly supastox so bought one. I have a futabs s9650 servo, the side lugs are off but normal lugs are there as it came from a helicopter. Has anyone got any pictures please or tips on mounting the servo, it's just that the servo arms are at a very strange angle and I cannot seem to get them level where I want them. On the Mardave I just added a few washers but the supastox seems a but more complex? Not much room on the chassis either for my Lrp sxx TC spec esc and futabs r693fs rx. Apart from that it seems a nice car. Thank you. |

Thank you Mark but i couldn't find anything specific on facebook. My servo is at an angle, does not seem right?
I've resorted to angled servo mounts for now as the kit ones seem to force the servo on the chassis at an angle. The car builds well, but its heavy so want to use the s9650. I'm trying to make it light as my mardave needs weight adding to it!!!! I've used alloy screw set, alloy diff axle etc. i'm hoping to race it next weekend but will see. Hope its not too fragile now. Do i just need different servo mounts? If all else fails the mardave is ready to go for next week, but i'd love to compare them before selling one. Supastox seems to be the trend at the moment, but no clear winner and i understand setting up the mardave better through build threads made which are great. Any good build threads available for supastox? Slow broadband were i am and shop suggested i ask on here. |

Find someone with the new Core 12th servo and ask to copy the mounting plate.
